Iran Visa | Entry rules Iran
Most of visitors need to apply for visa to enter in Iran, except for some countries.
Iran no longer affixes visas to passports nor stamps them on entry as a response to the US sanctions on persons who have visited Iran after 2011.
Most visitors can collect Iran visa at one of the Iranian diplomatic mission or upon arrival at any international airport in Iran by having visa approval letter.
Certified travel agencies in Iran can submit visa application at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the application is approved which normally takes 3 to 5 workings days, visitors will receive the visa approval letter by which visa can be obtained either at the Iranian consulate or at airport.
Please note that the procedure of receiving visa approval letter for American, British and Canadian citizens will take around 1 to 3 months. However it is possible to travel from UK to Iran for instance, just you need to plan well ahead.
In Shazdeh Travel, we will apply and provide the visitors with the visa approval letter upon reservation a trip with us.
Send us an email to info@shazdeh-travel.com with a color scan of the first page of your passport with the validity of minimum 6 months and a photo ID (for ladies photo with Heijab is not mandatory) and we will send you the application form to fill out, our staff will take care of the rest.
Please note that it's not allowed to have a stamp from Israel in your passport. Even for citizens from countries who don't need a visa for Iran, a an Israeli stamp in your passport will not let you enter Iran!!
Iran doesn’t give stamp in passports anymore – An Iranian stamp of your visa or entry / exist on your passport can be an issue, especially if you are traveling to the USA. However don't worry, Iran is now giving your visa on a separate piece of paper.
